Great idea to take the Ferry to the city! What port was this and is it easy to reach other ports for the other cruise lines?

We are sailing with them next month, we've gone mega rockstar which is their all inclusive option, loved the review! More excited now

Lovely ship,but wouldn't return,simply too many people,cant get a sunbed, really struggling to get a seat for entertainment,and also a banging noise every night in our cabin,did complain but to no avail,again lovely ship,but alot of things to sort out

I wento to montego bay in may on MSC and did the island tour and rose hall house with shopping didn't feel unsafe that day luckily

You get what you pay for. Spend some money, stay in the yacht club. It’s an outstanding experience and far better than any other cruise line out there.

Just binge watching your videos to catch up! Glad you are planning to go and see the Rotterdam. I stayed onboard for a friend's wedding and the solo cabin I had was great. It was great to stay overnight as it's a different experience to just visiting for a trip. Done a day visit as well off of a cruise and it was great to do the self guided tour because you can roam around the ship and imagine yourself back in time when she was sailing.

The weather in NYC looks just as bad as over this side of the Atlantic with 11 and a half months without a rain free day ....12 months once July begins!

Sorry you had a bad experience with your stateroom. I guess it's a hit or miss with sail away staterooms. I had a cruise on Meraviglia back in November of last year where I purchased an interior room with bella experience. I found out close to my cruise date they assigned me a stateroom with a deluxe size balcony. It was a pleasant surprise.

Great video. I’ve never considered Carnival before but that cabin does look absolutely fine. The bathroom however is a disappointment. I hate shower curtains and that would be a deal breaker for me. Yes call me precious but I hate them. It’s actually the reason I’ve never sailed Princess. (I think the newer ships may not have them). Glad I found your channel, great work.

Hi! Im debating whether to take my 86 year old mother on Aurora (sea view) or Arcadia (deluxe balcony) for the same price in July on her first cruise to Guernsey. I've seen & heard bad reviews reference Arcadia, but your balanced video here & the ship review has swung it for me. Many thanks!

That's a shame. Out of 25 cruises, MSC Meraviglia was one of the best. Gorgeous ship, great food, professional service, outstanding entertainment. We did it January 2022 out of Port Canaveral. Weather was perfect. Ranks in top 5 of favorite cruises.

Good grief, I get that this was the cabin you paid for but it’s hardly fit for use, well done on getting sorted.

I get the way you’re feeling. My first day on MSC Virtuosa as solo traveler left me shaking my head and wondering what have I done. I did not feel welcome, no one was trying to help resolve any of the countless issues I encountered from the minute I boarded, I felt like I was being ignored when all of the problems were MSC’s own doing (or lack of doing). This lasted for the entire 16 days (as a suite passenger). Terrible experience, terrible customer service, terrible attitude from staff. Never again MSC.

Totally agree with you regards the single room having a sofa bed and I would defo chase reimbursement for the upgrade as that sounds like false advertising to me, a sofa bed is not a single bed, I would be annoyed by that, as you were. Just found your channel and subscribed! I'm heading on a Princess cruise with our family (Balcony cabin) in less than a month to Iceland from Southampton, which is costing an arm and a leg btw, but it's been a tough few years and we have literally pushed the boat out a bit and so looking forward to our first cruise, I think it will be the first of many, although I will be looking at last minute deals from now on, I think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your cruise and it's not as stressful as the start of it!

If you booked a studio room what do you expect? Did you not go onto their website and look at the room views / videos in advance as that’s what we always do to make sure we know exactly what we’re going to get
